This retail development is located within a local municipality in west St. Louis County and features a drug store with drive through and related parking area. As part of the redevelopment of a major intersection, the plan offers landscape buffering primarily around the parking lot. Extensive planting was necessary to satisfy the City landscape ordinance, which included tabulations for required trees and shrubs.


The landscape design features plant massing of evergreen and ornamental shrubs along the property frontage for effective maintenance and curb appeal.  Street trees with narrow canopies were specified along the major arterial roadway for maximum visibility to the building and sign.
